PSYCHO LOVER (PART IV)

Shockingly.... She saw a girl was hung there -  without her hands and legs!!!! It was Cynthia!! Cynthia!!!! The bath tub was full with her blood! She turned her face away! She couldn't hold her tears! She wailed. She screamed her voice out!

At that time, she heard Amanda's scream from the backyard. She ran as fast as she could. There, she saw Robert was pointing his gun to Amanda's head who was bleeding her arms. He grinned to Ariel. Ariel stepped forward to them.

"Please..Let her go," Ariel begged.  

"Hell NO!"

"Ariel! Run Ariel! the cop will be here soon!". Amanda asked her to save her life.

'Boom!'

Amanda fell to the earth. 

"I hate people who are talking nonsense." Robert laughed crazily and murmured to himself. he really looked like a psycho! Ariel took the chance to run away. She ran to the woods. In the middle of the woods, she saw a few huge rocks. She ran behind the rocks and hid there. She saw Robert stopped in front of the rock. he was to close to her. She prayed to the God that Robert couldn't see her.

"Ariel . . .  come out now! I know you are here. Do you want to play hide and seek?".

There was no response.

"Ariel baby. . . Do you want to know something? I actually really love you. I love you so much. I miss you. I miss your hug. Please come to me, dear. Let's get back together like before..."

Ariel couldn't hold it anymore. She picked up a rusty sharp iron rod near there. Without wasting anymore time, she jabbed Robert in ribs. 

"Here, I give you a warm hug.". She jabbed it deeper. Robert fell down. 

"Urghhh.. thank.. you...honey...."

Ariel pulled the iron out. She stepped backwards and threw it away. Robert turned to her while trying to stop the bleeding.

"Thanks.... for everything...now.. you..are...just..like me... A killer...", he grinned. "See you in hell my dear...."

He smiled for the very last time. A wicked smile.

Ariel kneeled down near him. She cried. Then she saw a piece of paper near Robert. She took it. To her surprise, it was a picture of Amanda. 

What?! Are you being serious?

After a while,

She heard the police siren. . .

Love hurts.

Wherever I go.

It's always you.

We were meant to meet.

Break up is the only way,

To heal.

2 years later . . .

Ariel woke up from her nightmare. Now, she never believes in love nor boys. In fact, she hates boys.

"Ariel.. Ariel..?", called Cynthia. 

"Yes.. yes.. what did you say just now?", asked Ariel.

"We asked you if you wanna join us to Uncle's cabin. Well, just to chill out, release our tension," said Amanda.

"What are you wondering?". Asked Cynthia. 

"Nothing... Just nothing". A thin smile drew on her face.

"So, do you want to join us?", asked Amanda again.

"Erm.. yes. I'll join you"

Ariel was enjoying the view along the journey. They were a lot of greenish trees. All the trees intertwined forming a big tunnel. It was undeniably a breathtaking scenery.

Without she realized, they finally have arrived. The cabin looked great. It 'floated' over the lake covered by mist. It was made by oak trees and had classic carving on veranda, making it looked like a British style. 

"Wow! Beautiful." Cynthia was amazed with the cabin. 

"Come on in, girls."  

Amanda invited her friends to get inside the cabin.

"You guys go first. I just want to take some fresh air first.". Ariel said while walking around the yard. 

"Okay, take your time."

Ariel stayed outside until the sun rose. Then, she entered the cabin and made some breakfast. She toasted some breads, friend some bacons and eggs. She then woke her friends up. They were probably still sleeping because the journey was quite long. Cynthia, Amanda and Ariel enjoyed the breakfast, chatted and laughed together.

At night, they had barbecue. They were dancing to the music and laughed together. Suddenly . . .

They heard a gun shot. It was so close to them. To make it worse, the cabin went pitch-dark. It was black out! Ariel called her friends.

"Cynthia? Amanda? Where are you?"

There was no answer. She was worried. "Amanda? Cynthia??"

"Here. I'm here.", answered Amanda. 

"Where?"

"Here. Behind the BBQ set."

"Wait there. I'm coming.". Ariel then switched on her flash light using her phone and approached Amanda.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes. Where's Cynthia?"

"I have no idea. Didn't see her anywhere."

Kring.... kring... kring..

Ariel looked at her phone. Unknown number. She was curious. But, she picked up the call.

"Hello honey...", said the man in the phone.

"Robert?". Ariel was shocked.

"Yes baby. It's me. It's good to know that you still remember me. Do you miss me?"

"NO! NEVER!!!", Ariel shouted. She was pissed off! "How did you get my number?!"

"HAHAHAHA.. It's not important right now... I just want your love."

"Don't disturb me!" Scolded Ariel.

"You are looking for your friend, right?"

"How do you know?", Ariel was scared. She gulped and looked at Amanda. 

All of a sudden....

"Ariel!!! Help me!!! Ariel!! No!! Arghhhh.". Ariel hear a familiar voice from the phone. Wait. Was it... Cynthia??!!!!

"Robert! Don't you ever touch my friend!"

"HAHAHAHHAHA!! IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO DO SOMETHING TO HER. FOLLOW WHAT I SAY"

"NO!" Let her go!"

'Boom!!' She heard the sound of a gun!

"NOOO!!!!!!" Ariel screamed and dropped her phone. She fell on the ground. She cried. Amanda was lost and then asked, "Why are you crying? Who was it?"

"Cynthia... Robert..." said Ariel while crying.

"Wait, What? Robert? Cynthia? What's going on?"

Ariel hugged Amanda and cried. Suddenly, it went dark. Again. She couldn't see anything. 

"Ariel? Wake up. Ariel...!!!", Amanda slapped Ariel's face slowly. 

*    *     *     *     *

"Where am I?", Ariel touched her forehead. She felt very dizzy.

"At my uncle's cabin." Said Amanda while walking towards her. Ariel remembered about Cynthia and both of them felt clueless.

After a while. . .

"Stay here. I want to get some drinks for us. By the way. I had called the police. They'll arrive soon. So, don't worry."

Ariel nodded while Amanda went out of the room.

Half an hour later, Amanda didn't return. She then walked to the kitchen. Amanda was not there. She was panicked. Then, she walked to the washroom because she heard something there. She walked close to the washroom, slowly twisted the doorknob. The door was opened, she pulled the door wider.

PSYCHO LOVER (PART II)

"By the way, why are you here, darling?", asked Ariel.

"Don't you remember our plan tonight?"

"Oh! I'm sorry! I forgot!"

"Wait. What plan do you guys have?". Cynthia cut their conversation off.

"Tonight, we are going to a party!". Ariel told them. 

"Really? Wow. I'm so jealous!"

"Well dear. I think we should go now.", said Robert.

"Okay. Bye everyone! See you tomorrow.". Ariel kissed and hugged Cynthia and Amanda before making her move. 

"Take care", Amanda whispered and blinked to her.

"Enjoy your party!", Cynthia shouted to Ariel and Robert as they have walked away leaving her and Amanda at the cafe.

"Okay. Now I feel so jealous. I hope I'll get a boyfriend like Robert." Cynthia confessed to Amanda. But Amanda has already made a move and walked out of the cafe. Cynthia quickly followed her from the back.

"How do I look??", Ariel asked Robert, worried.

"You just looked nice. Don't worry. You look gorgeous as always"

He stared at Ariel and smiled.

"Why do you smile like that? It looks scary. Don't look at me. Just focus on the road.". She then took out her phone from the bag, scrolling through her Instagram. It became quiet fro a while. Suddenly, Robert turned his car to the left, passing a dark road with some big shady trees along. 

"Wait. Where are we heading to?", Ariel was curious.

Robert just smiled and didn't respond to her question.

"Hey! I asked you. Where are we going?"

"Don't worry. I will not do anything to you. I just want to take some things at my house."

"Your house? Do you have a house? When did you buy a house? You didn't tell me before."

"Be patient, honey. You will know later." Robert answered all of the questions in just a second. 

"Okay then. Wake me up when we have arrived. I feel so sleepy now."

Ariel fell into sleep while Robert was still driving.

"Ariel. Wake up."

"Erm.. Don't disturb. Go away"

"Ariel. Wake up. We are here"

"Where are we now?"

"At my house. Come on.". Robert opened the car's door for Ariel.

Ariel went out. She looked at the old scary house that maybe was built since the first world war. The yard was like in a horror move with only an old shady tree with dead leaves around tree bar at the left of the house. Ariel walked next to Robert. They entered the house. There was a bad smell. It smelled like a carcass or dead body of an animal..or maybe a human.

"What a horrible smell!"

"Old house." said Robert.

The house looked so horrifying. It had broken tiles and stairs. There was also a broken window with some glasses on the floor. It had two bedrooms and the first floor and three bedrooms on the second floor. All the bedrooms are built with a washroom each. It was a really huge bungalow. 

"Do you always come here?", asked Ariel while walking around the living room.

"Yup", answered Robert. Simple. 

"Oh seriously? The house must be beautiful, right"

"Ermm.. maybe it isn't"

"You can....", Ariel suddenly stopped her words. It was so dark because of the black out. 

"Ariel...?!" . It was quiet. Robert was worried.

"Ariel...?? Ariel!!", he called again.

"Yes! I'm here at the stairs". She switched on the the flash light at her phone. Robert walked to her. He then told Ariel to wait there as he wanted to fix the main switch. Ariel then waited at the sofa. It was a bit dusty though. 

"Why is he taking too much time I'm bored. Should I go around the house?"

She smiled cheekily. She switched on the flight again. She stood up and went up to the stairs. She walked slowly to the dark aisle. At the end of the aisle, there was a room that caught her attention. She headed to the room, held the door knob/ She looked around before entering. 

Upon entering the room, she was terrified when she smelled a very horrible smell like a dead body. She flashed the light up to he ceiling. It looked old and to her surprise, there was a rusty book shelf full of human organs. There were also some heads of the girl who looked so awful!

Ariel was shaking. But she was so curious. She walked to the soft board which had a lot of girls' pictures with red cross on it. She was looking at each of the photos. She didn't know them but.... there was a photo which flabbergasted her! Sara! The leader of their cheerleader!!! And more shockingly, there was her own picture in the middle of the soft board, but.... without a red-cross. 

"Oh my God! What is happening on this earth!"

Scared. Agitated. Panicked. She wiped the tears on her cheeks.

"I'll make sure I'm not the next victim." 

Without hesitating, She snapped all the pictures by using her phone. She wanted to make them as evidence. She now knew the truth about Robert. She wanted to defend all the girls who had died in Robert's hands. After she finished, she sent them to Cynthia and Amanda through their Whatsapp group. She needed to take an action! 

As quiet as a mouse, she walked out of the room. She made sure Robert didn't notice her. She walked down the stairs and moved towards the sofa. She sat there. She played the games in her mobile phone, pretended like nothing has happened.

A few minutes later . . .

"Ariel ?!"

She was shocked. She turned and looked at Robert.

"Why do you stay in dark?", asked Ariel.

"Yea. I couldn't fix the switch. Sorry"

"I see. Let's make a move then. It's already late", said Ariel.

"Where?"

"Aaaa.. the party? Did you just forget?". They then walked out to the yard.

Robert kept quiet. Suddenly he grinned. 

""Don't you know why did I bring you here?", asked Robert, turning his head to Ariel. 

"Why?"

"Actually, I bring you here for this,". Robert informed while taking out a mini red box from his pocket. He kneeled down in front of Ariel. Ariel felt so shocked and scared.She cried. She fell on her knees. She wanted to tell the truth to Robert. 

"Dear, are you okay? What is happening?", asked Robert.

"Roby.. I really love you...", she sobbed.

"Yes, I know. I love you too..." said Robert. Gentle.

"Nope. Listen to me first", said Ariel. Being certain. "I really want to be with you... But, I'm so sorry. I can't... You are so special... I... I...."

Robert stood up suddenly.

"Ariel!! I can't believe you did this to me?!! Don't you know how much I love you?!! Ariel? " Robert snarled at her. She just cried. She couldn't do anything.

Suddenly, they heard a police siren. 

Robert stared at Ariel. 

"How dare you did this to me? If I'm stay alive, I'll make sure you'll be mine!", warned Ariel. He smiled creepily. Then he ran into the woods. Ariel just could see Robert ran away. She was unable to do anything. She just cried until the cops came to her. Cynthia and Amanda were there too. 

They calmed her. Robert has become 'the wanted person'. His face was shown at the first page of all newspaper. 

Robert was announced as a cruel murderer.

The cops gathered all the evidence in the house.

Ariel has now become phobia with love.

PSYCHO LOVER (PART I)

Season: Summer

Characters:

Monday, 9.00 a.m

"Argh!! What time is it now? Mom, why didn't you wake me up?"

She looked at her phone. It was 9 a.m. She went to the bathroom and just washed her face. She knew she hadn't much time for shower. She went down the stairs quickly. Luck was not on her side. She fell down!

Her mom passed by her and looked weird.

"What happen honey? You are in a rush..."  

"Mom, I forgot my date with Robert"

"Oh honey. Please eat first before you go. I made your favourite breakfast."

"Sorry mom. Not now. I'll eat later."

Ariel kissed her mom's cheeks and ran to the door. When Ariel was opening the door, she saw a guy was leaning his back at his blue old car. He smiled.

"Sorry, I'm late." 

"It's okay, dear. Shall we get going now?"

"Sure. I'm so excited!"

While Robert was driving, Ariel was enjoying the beautiful view they had along the journey. She was stunned with the panoramic view. There were a lot of flowers planted in lines. She felt so amazed.

"Wow Robert! Is this heaven?"

"Pardon?"

Robert laughed at her.

"You are too much!"

"No, I'm serious. I can see heaven from here!"

"Okay now. Close your eyes." Robert asked.

He then turned the car to the left and after 5 minutes, he stopped. Ariel could hear a noisy sound. She knew the sound. The bright smile adorned her face. 

"Why are you smiling?"

"I know the sound! Can I open my eyes now?"

"Yes!"

"Oh My God! This is so adorable!"

In front of them, there was a beautiful waterfall. Ariel quickly ran out of the car. She jumped happily upon seeing the sight in front of her. When she turned her face back, she looked at Robert. He was smiling. Then, she ran to hug him. 

"Thank you honey! I'm so glad."

They spent there until evening.

Ariel walked hurriedly to the cafe. She looked around to find someone who she was really excited to meet. Her view stopped at the two girls who were sitting at the corner while chatting and laughing happily.  Her best friends. Cynthia and Amanda. Without hesitating, Ariel approached them. 

"Boo!!"

"Arggh!!" Cynthia splashed out her coffee.

"Hahahahahahha!!!!" Ariel and Amanda laughed loudly as Cynthia made a wicked face when she was in a shock. 

"How dare you!! This is my favourite coffee!" said Cynthia while cleaning her shirt with tissue.

"I'm sorry. I'm just kidding. Let me order another one for you, my baby." Ariel apologized. 

"Okay. Okay fine. This will be the very last time you fool me around okay? I f you do it again, I'll not forgive you.". 

Ariel grinned and saluted her. 

"Okay girls, enough. Did you guys hear about missing people lately?". Amand changed the topic. Ariel and Cynthia looked at each other and shook their heads.

"Well, last week, two girls went missing and up until now, they were not found. Also, yesterday, Sara, the leader of cheerleader was missing too!"

"Wow! Why did the kidnapper just take the girls?", asked Ariel.

"Maybe because . . ."

"Ariel!"

Just then, a voice cut their conversation off. All of them looked for the voice. Ariel smiled and called Robert.

"Oh, Roby. Come here.", said Ariel while waving her hand. 

"Guys.. This is Roby a.k.a Roby, my boyfriend. Roby, these are my best friends, Cynthia and Amanda.". Ariel introduced her friends to her boyfriend. They greeted each other.

"Hello"

Robert shook hands with Cynthia, the girl who was wearing a white t-shirt with a unicorn on it paired with a tight black jeans and chili-red heels.

"Hi, handsome boy." Cynthia teased Robert and Ariel. Robert grinned and Ariel pinched Cynthia.

"Don't you try. He's mine."

Everyone laughed. 

Then he turned to Amanda who was sitting in front of Ariel. Robert smiled at her, then they shook hands. Amanda was wearing a tight scarlet-red blouse with yellow high heels. She looked so sexy. She was known as 'hot diva' at their college. 

"Don't stare. You might fall in love with her."

Cynthia teased Robert. And again, everyone laughed.

THE DARK SIDE (CHAPTER IV)

CHAPTER IV : MYSTERY REMAINS A MYSTERY

Night became a fear,

Losing, falling the tear,

Love is all you need,

It brighten your darkness.

The next day ...

       Ben called Brandon.

       ‘Hello, yes Ben .What’s the matter? I’m busy right now. Can we talk later?’ Brandon started the conversation.

        ‘Wait, Brandon, we need to talk right now. I don’t want to stay in this house anymore.’

         "Why? Are you scared ?" Ben was shocked when Brandon asked that.

         "Wait. You know something right? Tell me.’ Ben was really desperate. He was worried something might happen to his family.

Suddenly.....         

           ‘Pranggg !!!!!!!’ something broke. Ben ran to see what had happened.

        ‘Max, are you okay ? Kathryn checked on her son.

        ‘What happened? Ben rushed to his wife. 

        ‘ The lamp just fell off and it almost hit Max.’ Kathryn told Ben what she saw.

Ben sighed. He needed to do something, if not, thing wouldl get worse. He continued his phone call with Brandon to get a solution for this problem.

        "Brandon, you need to help me. I don’t want anything to happen to my family"

        "Hahahahahahah, I’m sorry , I can do nothing." Brandon ended the call.

Ben was bewildered. He had no idea why Brandon did this to him. After dinner, Ben called everyone to gather at the living room. He wanted to discuss something.

        ‘Dad, what’s the matter? I need to do something.’ Max was rushing.

        "Okay, everyone. We need to leave this house by tomorrow".

        ‘What?’ Everyone was shocked with Ben’s statement. 

         "Since we came here, I experienced a lot of things. You know the locked room right? I kept hearing a voice from that room and had bad dream".

        ‘Actually, I experienced once too. When I wanted to close my window before sleeping I saw a figure was staring at this house". Max told his family what he saw , from the forest. 

        "Why didn’t you  tell us ?" Kathryn asked her son softly.

        "I..I was thinking that maybe I was sleeping at that time"

Next morning…

      ‘Alexia! and Alicia!’ 

Kathryin was shocked as the twin weren't in their room since morning. Ben was afraid. He then decided to go into the forest to search for the twin. He brought Max and Buddy along. 

After an hour searching Ben saw a house. This house was messy. Very messy. Ben called Alicia and Alexia but there was no answers. He then  found in room. 

Shockingly, he saw Alicia was fainted. There was blood on the floor. When Ben was about to approach his daughter, Buddy barked. Non-stop.

Ben turned around. He saw a girl with messy hair, holding a sharp knife, with blood. She looked totally miserable. She looked jinxed. 

Wait!

Is that.... Alexia???

THE DARK SIDE (CHAPTER III)

CHAPTER III: THE NIGHTMARE

After their dinner, Ben put Alexia and Alicia to sleep. Ben just took a step out of the twin’s room but Alicia called him.
         
        'Dad’

        ‘Yes my dear’.

        ‘Can you tell us a bedtime story ’

        ‘Of course. Why not? What kind of story do you want?

        ‘uhhhhhmmm…..’ I want to hear a horror story’

        ‘Will you not be Scared?"

          ‘Nope ’

        ‘Okay’!

        Once upon a time, there was a small family who lived in the deep forest. They had a maid.  She has been working to the family for a long time. But, an incident occurred. The employer did something cruel to their maid’

      ‘Alexia and Alicia’. Ben called the twin but they had fallen asleep. 

Ben went out and closed the door. Suddenly, Ben heard like something talking. So he went to check. When he went closer...

         ‘I think it's a woman's voice’. Ben courage himself to go closer.

         ‘The maid accidentally spilled  hot water on the employer son’s leg. After that, the son was unable to walk. The employer was so angry, he tortured the maid. He threw her  into a fireplace'.The voice was talking while crying.

       Ben was shocked, it was the story that he is just made for his daughters. Ben didn’t want to stay there for a long time so , he just got out of there and went to the toilet.

       ‘Skriitt,Skraatt…’ Ben heard a scratching sound. Within a minute, he tried to recall his nightmare. He  heard the same noise in his dream but the sound came from the mirror. He looked at the mirror behind him that was covered with a curtain. Slowly, the curtain opened. He saw a woman. To his surprise, her head turned around. Only her head! The woman's eyes were staring at Ben. 

       
       ‘Aaaaaaaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhhh!!!Ben scream with all his strength.

Ben woke up. His heart pounding was fast. He was relieved that it was just a dream. He wondered why he always had the same nightmare lately. Kathryn woke up too as she heard Ben's scream.

       ‘You had a nightmare again ? Kathryn asked.

        ‘Yaa.. I don’t know why lately I've been dreaming something scary. It’s okay. Continue your sleep. I want to get a drink".

         ‘Okay .’ Kathryn pulled up her blanket.

Ben went to the kitchen, while going down the stairs, he heard kids laughing. He thought his daughters did not sleep, yet. As he went closer, the voice stopped. Ben had goosebumps. He went straight to his room and continued his sleep.

A dream

That becomes a reality.

Is it a dream?

Or is it reality?

I wonder if it was REALLY a dream

THE DARK SIDE (CHAPTER II)

CHAPTER 2: A MANSION

On the way to the new house, Maxim, Alexie and Alicia were so happy and excited. They brought Buddy too. In the car, they talked about a lot of things such as the situation of the house, big room and friend they will get. 

Suddenly, there was something disturbing Ben. He felt he used this road once. But he kept quiet.

        ‘Are you okay, honey?’ You just keep quiet since we started the journey. Kathryn was worried about Ben.

         ‘I’m okay. I’m just wondering if we have arrived,’ Ben did not want to make his wife worried.

Following the address given by Brandon, Ben and his family arrived at a magnificent mansion. While Kathryn and the children were impressed with the house, Ben at that time was regaining his memory about his nightmare.

          ‘The road and this mansion, it looks like in my dream but much better, how can it be? Ben mumbled by himself.

It’s hanging,

Full of questions,

With no answer,

Recalling the memory

It’s the best solution,

To find the way out.

           ‘Honey, how do you get this beautiful mansion?’ Kathryn asked Ben curiously.

            ‘Do you like it?’

           ‘Yes, so much.’

           ‘Actually, Brandon who bought this house. He said it is cheap and near to this project so it is worth it. But he rarely came here,"

Alexia explored the house by herself. Then she found a room locked and it smelled strange.

       

        ‘Daddy! Daddy!’ Alexia called Ben.

        ‘Yes Alexia. What are you going here alone?'

         ‘Daddy, why is this room locked? I really want to know what’s in here.

        ‘I don’t know either. Brandon didn’t tell me anything about this. Maybe it is a store. Come let's go."

Suddenly, Ben’s step stopped. He heard a whisper. The voice was really creepy.

      ‘Welcome, Ben’. 

Hearing that voice. Ben got goosebumps. But he ignored it. He went out and played with the kids.

Suddenly Buddy barked loudly and them Ben started to look for Buddy. Buddy went to a forest behind their house. It seems to look for something. Ben called Buddy and the others to get into the house because the day was getting dark.
